Lacy Backgrounds for Cards and Other Projects

Here is how you can make pretty, feminine backgrounds for your cards and other paper projects.

What you need:

1. Plain card stock in your choice of colour (Lighter colours preferred)
2. Lace fabric from any craft store.
3. Poster colours (Diluted to your preference)
4. Small spray bottle

Instructions:

1. Take a small piece of lace and a piece of card stock in matching size.
2. Fill the spray bottle with poster colour. Best if you use a bottle that can spray a fine mist.
3. Cover the card stock with the piece of lace fabric.
4. Spray a fine, even layer of colour over the lace and card stock. I used yellow paper and red paint.
5. You have a pretty piece of card stock for making into cards or for scrapbooking. Cheap and easy!
